Why we value our members

We value our members, as their views and support are the backbone of the organisation.  Anyone who wishes to become involved in making Loughton a better place to live is welcome to join us.


What Membership gives you Membership is only 5 for the calendar year and covers a complete household. Membership is without obligation and can be stopped at any time.


What your Membership gives us
You can join in any one of the following ways

When joining, tell us whether
you would like to receive the regular email news, and include anyone in your household as additional email address(es). You can unsubscribe at any time.

1. By Standing Order - we prefer this as it helps keep our costs and administration down, and you don't need to remember to pay each year, and our LRA volunteers don't need to deliver reminders to you. You can cancel at any time.

Your payment should be 5 now, then every 2 January until further notice. If you join between September 1st and December 31st, your annual payment will be the subsequent year (see above).

Include a reference made up of the second half of your postcode and your house number, so we can identify the payment (e.g. our membership secretary’s reference would be 1JB9) and email us with your name, address (including postcode) and phone number.

2. By a Bank Transfer

Include a reference made up of the second half of your postcode and your house number, so we can identify the payment (so our membership secretary’s reference would be 1JB9).

Then email us with your name, address (including postcode) and phone number.

3. By Posting a Cheque

Print, complete and send the Membership form with your cheque (payable to “LRA” or to “Loughton Residents Association”) to our membership secretary (address above).

If you cannot complete the form, you can still send your cheque to us but attach to it your name, address (including postcode), phone number and email address (if you have one).
