Traps Hill surgery.
When the expanded health centre role was proposed for the Traps Hill surgery, we were largely supportive. We did ask for a gate from the Traps Hill main car-park (behind the Library) into the surgery, as otherwise patients have to walk quite a long way round. This is becoming even more important because Traps Hill is often solidly parked-up, and parking there will eventually be restricted to one side only, and because use of the surgery car-park is now restricted to staff and disabled patients. If you are a patient at the surgery, please let us know your views.
Consultation on fairer hospital car parking charges for patients & visitors.
The consultation outlines a range of options, including:
- giving all in-patients free hospital car-parking for their visitors, or only after a long stay; and
- giving access to free parking for out-patients who need to attend a series of appointments, or placing a cap on charges for priority out-patient groups who attend regular hospital appointments.
Closes 23 February 2010. Views from the public are welcome.
