Local projects

We contribute to the Loughton community in a concrete way, often by working with other local groups and organisations.

LRA has produced the following major community projects.

The Farmers Market provides an opportunity for people to meet and talk, something that can be lost in our car-based shopping.

December 2008 Farmer's Market

Christmas We host a gathering for people to celebrate with music, mulled wine and mince pies.

Loughton Brook With consultation, a design brief and funding, this enhancement scheme will improve the quality of life in the Roding area.

Soundscape was LRA’s millennium community project, gathering people’s views of Loughton then and now.

Loughton Day was our first community project, created by LRA to get people thinking about the town and how they felt about it.
